ABOUT Marco Antunez

Personal Dedication to Helping Clients Achieve

After working as a PTA for 6 years and not being content with where my career was heading, I was introduced to the functional fitness world by my mentor and fellow Davidson Wildcat, Juan Duque. At the time I weighed at 192 pounds: 30 pounds heavier than my college years.

Through months of extremely difficult circuit training, I was able to cut my weight down to 165 pounds and be in the absolute best shape in my life. The effect of staying active has had in my life is indispensable, as it has positively affected my overall body, psyche, and morale in literally all aspects of my life. After three months in the DC area, I moved to Sarasota, Florida, where I continued to focus on my personal fitness and wellness.

Moving back to Connecticut, I met my first client, Sara Florio, who shared my career goals. Upon seeing results from her hard work and brainstorming with Sara, I decided to enter fitness and wellness, to be an educator of anatomy and tie science into everyday functional movement and exercise.

We combined our clinical knowledge to our passion of helping others to create Total Body Performance Fitness & Wellness. Total Body Performance is based on continuous research and learning about the human body to help others achieve their fitness and overall lifestyle goals.
