Strength technique is not just being able to lift or move an object from point A to point B: injury prevention combines strength with proper movement to reduce harm from physical challenges. As therapists, we pride ourselves in working with those who not only want to lose weight and/or rehab from old injuries but giving clients regimens with modifications to ensure the safest way of reaching their goals while preventing harm.

Recovery Training

Recovery is as important as training itself. Allowing the body to heal from the damage of strenuous exercise is a must in any exercise regimen. Massage, kinesiology taping, myofascial releasing, foam rolling, and flexibility training are services and techniques we use to enhance recovery time.

Core strengthening / stabilization

The basis of all power and strength comes from strength training and stabilization of the core musculature, which includes hip, pelvis, abdominal and low back muscles. Several exercises for injury prevention incorporating spinal and pelvic anti-rotation and extension assist with general performance.
