Compassion and Experience to Help You Reach Your Health and Wellness Goals

In my mid-thirties, I was really struggling with my weight. It was affecting my health both physically and mentally. My self-image and confidence levels were low. I was stressed working in rehab management, less physically active, dealing with anxiety, and experiencing GI issues due to inflammation and nutritional deficits.

I took the first step towards changing my life; working with a trainer, who unfortunately, was not a good fit.  I started a new job and met Marco at my gym one afternoon. That was it. I left my trainer and worked very hard and consistently with Marco for months. Through this partnership I was able to do all of the training methods that I had always feared and felt insecure about trying. In combination with a complete diet change, I lost 17 pounds, gained strength, endurance, and muscle tone.  Four years later, and with a great friendship, Marco and I are still working out together, constantly motivating each other, and brainstorming new ideas.

I never understood why people were so passionate about their workouts, but at 43, I cannot imagine it not being a part of my routine. This reinforced my need to learn more and offer more to others. I went on to get my holistic health coach certification and Precision nutrition certification.

After much planning, we started Total Body Performance Fitness. The combination of our collective years of experience as therapists with the addition of our skills as personal trainers, allows us to help to others reach their health and fitness goals, prevent disease, and promote overall wellness.
